It was later granted a licence and became the Federal Palace Hotel, and then the Federal Hotel and was demolished in 1973. As a matter of interest - note the public urinal on the left. @awb.photo Its the connection of travel integrated into the city that impresses me. Train and tram lines weaving their way through the city like veins in the body keeping the city alive 24/7. This image was taken from the First street development looking down towards Oxford Road station with the many new buildings growing through the skyline.
