Weegee: Besessen vom Fotografieren: Mit 14 Jahren kaufte Weegee, hier am 27. Juli 1945, der sich damals noch Arthur Fellig nannte, sich seine erste Kamera. Fortan ließ ihn die Leidenschaft für das Fotografieren nicht mehr los. Er erklärte später: "Ich glaube, ich bin schon als Fotograf auf die Welt gekommen, mit Fixierbad im Blut."
