Activity 1 Gelatin plate printing with stencils and ink at hand. You'll need lots of rollers,  (or brayers) and recycled tiles for working on. Make two sets of gelli plates, wrap them in cling wrap and store in the fridge. Swap sets between classes so they don't warm up and water down your ink.

Monoprints are on the agenda again. Stencils, a jar of drawing implements (we added paddle pop sticks during the sessions), water to spray dried out ink plates. Large handle on sanding block covered in brush-type paper proved an excellent tool for students to smooth paper when taking prints.

Workshop

Rolling ink onto homemade gelatin plates. I set my plates in baking tins of different sizes and shapes, mixing five packets of gelatin powder per plate with enough water to make a 2.5 cm thick plate.
