Ribbons of colour appear to thread through this cowl which is knitted in the round using a simple slip stitch pattern. This makes it lovely and warm and the eight shades of Batik yarn used for the ribbons make it colourful too.

As with their original collection, earrings steal the SUGARFIX by BaubleBar show. These stunning pieces look like one-of-a-kind scores (no one needs to know they were less than $30!). And we haven’t even mentioned the best part: Previous collaborations have been limited-time-only deals, but Target plans to offer SUGARFIX by BaubleBar on an ongoing basis, adding new styles every month.

I printed the sheet onto good smooth card and cut out. I scored and folded as per the clear instructions and added super strong red tape onto the flaps as indicated and stuck the bag together. I decoupaged the flowers with silicone glue and added the handle of the bag again with super strong tape. I threaded some co-ordinating ribbon through the tag and tied around one handle of the bag. A really quick and easy make which looks really effective.
It's been a great week for scoring #sewing stuff! Someone brought a box to work full of goodies so I grabbed poly fill, a clear ruler, tracing paper, a bag of thread, bias tape, and lace. Then my #califabrics fabric came in along with my #dutchlabelshop labels! Time to get sewing so I can blog about these lovelies!
This is a gorgeous and popular pattern that has been circulating around for years, written and re-written by many people, in this re-write I have used all American English crochet terminology, using “modules” of stitches to make it easier to understand the construction of the pattern. This is a really fun and easy pattern once you get the hang of it, and it works up quickly to make a really sweet gift for a baby or just about anyone…who doesn’t love a hand made soft snugly blanket? :)
