Ethiopian Kitab Necklace I have a necklace similar to this that broke a number of years ago. It is made with a square leather pouch and beads. A portion on each side is snake vertebrae. I need to reconstruct it.
by Ann Brooks | Antique sterling prayer box amulet from Rajasthan, is combined with red old vulcanite beads from the African Trade. The amulet is quite old, dating to perhaps, the early 1800s. The necklace is ended off with two Thai Hill Tribe fine silver beads. A silver chain and a smaller, older (early 20th century) Rajasthani silver, village goddess charm finish off the necklace. | 184$
