Conceptual Beauty Shoot: Hypocrisy of Righteousness Being an artist first photographer second means that I often grow my concepts from a philosophical seed. For this self-promotional project I wanted to explore the fine line between righteous intentions and hypocrisy. Within each human being lies the fuel for action desire. Out of desire comes all the good and bad in this world. We are so easily blinded by our self-righteous intentions that we unintentionally step off the righteous path…

Yesterday I saw the prettiest teacup card from @huh_what_pardon that reminded me that I have other Teacup Stamps with #artgonewild -- that I love. I couldn't stop thinking about how fun it would be to color this one in with my new @drphmartins #RadiantConcentratedWatercolors that I picked up @themixonmaine . All I did was fill my water brush with fresh clean water drop a SINGLE drop of color on to a clear stamping block and easily picked up the color with the brush to start coloring each…

Repost from @blynnxoxo 1 out 30 images of the secret project I am working on with @bluestarcoloring and a few other amazing people that i can't reveal just yet! This project has been full of inspiration excitement all nighters and of course challenges. As an artist challenges and deadlines excite me. One of the challenges for this project is I have to create images that have a detail level of a 5 with thin lines when all my work is usually at a 10 with bold lines. At first it was difficult…

Not the best body image week but honestly that's very typical of recovery. Lately I've noticed myself putting up a front on this account and I want to always make sure that I am transparent! Recovery is NEVER linear it's more of a wavy line where over time the wives become smaller and smaller. But they're still there. And that's okay! Some days will be better than others. Some days you'll really be waging war and some days you'll win the battle. It can be frustrating but don't let it get you…

thor_mark  posted a photo: Trees Lining a View Across the Merced River. When I captured this image in spring of 2016, I was drawn into this setting with the water reflections of Yosemite Falls and the nearby mountainsides off the Merced River. It was captivating, needless to say! That's what this image was about when I took it with my Nikon D800E here on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/14723335@N05/28870603086/in/album-7... ). Carl Kleiner - the setup of the furniture in this image immediately remind me of a theripst’s office for some reason. Other than that, I really like the very modern feel and the almost animated feel I get form the colours and lighting. This has me thinking of a sort of modernist poppet painting or something. The tables that look like gears really add some nice dimension to the photo and I love the soft blue in the background. I think I would have cropped a little tighter on the top.

I wish I could pinpoint a single detail of this gorgeous day that I love more than the others, but the truth is, I do believe I love every single moment in these stunning images from Rustic White Photography. They paint

I really like the fact that this image doesn't really have a defined focus other than the handle bars. I love the effect that depth of field plays in this image and the quality and beauty of the snow. I think this image looks great. Photo of the Week #6
