The 1820 Diamond Diadem made for George IV by Rundell, Bridge & Rundell, openwork silver frame lined w/gold, set transparent with 1,333 diamonds including a 4-carat pale yellow brilliant in center front cross. It has been worn regularly by queens regnant and consort from Queen Adelaide onwards since George IV's use in 1821. Her Majesty now wears it when traveling to and from the State Opening of Parliament.
