Window shelf! This kitchen has all the things that I love in it: pressed tin (I would love to have that as ceiling tile or a back splash), a farmhouse sink, salvaged leaded-glass windows used as art, cup-style drawer pulls, the color red, white cabinets, baskets....oh, my!!
I love the simple charm of this cottage kitchen! The bead board and butcher block counter top is my favorite. Just swap some of the open shelves for cabinets and I would change the lower cabinet's green color to blue probably. :)
adorable breakfast nook. my grannie - with her love of red - would have liked this! notice the teacups hanging from the chandelier. this photo got the wheels turning in my own head. i painted my kitchen last year and haven't yet grown to love it. still have some itches for that room that i need to scratch. good inspiration here.
This is so rustic. If I ever have the luxury of owning a cute little cabin I am so putting in a fun tree branch to hang my mugs off of. Another great idea with branches is creating curtain rods out of them! I'll have to put a picture up of it.
