Good morning, friends! So who’s still groggy from all that festive celebrating yesterday? 😉 Many of you already know a secret fringe benefit from going to many country farm sales…they provide amazing photo ops! Snapped a few of this old worn barn last week after learning it was scheduled to be dismantled. Makes me sad, but at least its glorious weathered wood and old iron hardware will live on. 👏💗🙌 Wishin' you a beautiful day, friends, and success at what you set your hand to! 🌟
Ecology of Colour is exactly that, a glorious collaboration between Nous Vous and Studio Weave that sees William Edmonds’ precise geometric designs hand-painted onto a beautiful cedar structure, creating an approachable and inviting environment to house dyeing and wildlife workshops for the local community.
Fiona and Twig: Magnolia Pearl Ranch and GIVEAWAY! This beautiful ranch in the Texas Hill Country is up for sale. I don't live far from their area and as a fan of Magnolia Pearl (Robin), I really hate to see it leave their hands. Love all the photos on Anne's website and have seen it also in Robin's book. It's glorious !
Japanese artist Kenji Nakayama’s show in NYC’s Woodward Gallery is heading out to the wild, wild west for Hellion Gallery’s July show in Portland, OR. Mechanical engineer turned artist, Kenji does pinstriping, gilded lettering and multi-layered stencil paintings that we think are pretty great. “Too Far Gone” opens tonight at 6pm — come celebrate at the gallery in Chinatown.
