Chicken nacho hash browns. Cook shredded potatoes on the waffle iron with olive oil until crispy. Top with grilled chicken, tomatoes, cheese, green onions, salsa, etc. broil to melt the cheese, makes the perfect nacho appetizers!
Cook eggs in the waffle iron. Scramble two eggs, season with salt and pepper, add in some chooped onions, ham, mushrooms ... whatever you fancy. Spray waffle iron with oil and preheat. Pour eggs onto the waffle iron and close. Let sit for a minute or two and voila. Easy clean up too.
Rachel Ray gave me a great way to use Thanksgiving leftovers! Stuffing waffles, topped with turkey and cranberry-maple syrup--yum, better than it was the first time!! Pack your leftover stuffing into a waffle iron, cook as directed and turn stuffing waffle onto a plate. Top with turkey and a cranberry syrup. I made mine by combining 1 cup cranberry/orange relish with 1/3 cup maple syrup; and heating. Enjoy!
