Elephant Sculptures made from driftwood by South African artist Andries Botha. A team of 10 African artists put together this giant family of elephants in a public installation piece titled You Can Buy My Heart and My Soul.

In celebration of Earth Day, my classes brought in "junk" to recycle into a Louise Nevelson style box sculpture. We had a blast watching it grow and come together! Staten's class

silhouette / magazine strips. Taylor and I tried this and were very pleased! I made a unicorn head; she, a bear. It's time-consuming and a little intensive but I declare it totally worth it. Planning on framing my unicorn. Also: old J.Crew mags are great for this project.
