MA-inspired on etsy..... Marie did not invent the 'pouf' headdress, but she was responsible for popularizing it and turning it into a way to convey a tone or message about the things she advocated.  Poufs were usually about 3 feet high, but could soar even higher.  There were several known pouf deaths by women who accidentally got them caught in lit chandeliers, ugh.....
