Prince Ludwig of Hesse and his fiance Margaret Geddes. It was to their wedding in 1937 that Louis' brother, the Grand Duke of Hesse, and sister-in-law (nee Cecilie, Princess of Greece and Denmark, sister of the Duke of Edinburgh) were travelling when their plane crashed at Ostend, killing all aboard. Louis became Grand Duke of Hesse, and his wedding was moved forward and very quiet.
