Here is the interior of my little suitcase. The top folds down, just like old vintage suitcases did. Behind it is more finished interior. The straps across the bottom unbuckle as well. The butterfly board in the base is made from chipboard, the chipboard pieces that accompany the Bo Bunny Gabrielle papers. The butterfly board is covered with clear plastic packaging from some Tim Holtz Grungeboard.

Here is the interior of the finished box, with the hot air balloon. I have made it dimensional by folding the balloon several times and gluing it in the center to create the 3D effect. The little man on the front of the balloon is from Alpha Stamps. It was several pieces of "paper dolls" that I found and put together to form this funny fellow. This honeycomb balloon tag was created from a Tim Holtz stamp. I created a faux honeycomb balloon by stamping the balloon several times onto tissue paper that I then inked, folded and glued together in different places. This tag also features other Tim Holtz stamps and Ideaology pieces.

CREATIVITY IS CONTAGIOUS Layered tag using inks, masks and stamps to achieve the background using Tim Holtz' summer distress ink colors. The tag is then embellished with Tim Holtz' dress form and thread labels stamps from Haberdashery. The spool labels are colored using distress inks and a water brush. They are mounted on distressed chipboard made to look like a wooden spool top. The frame is Tim's book plate die cut on Grungeboard, painted and crackled. The girl is from Girls Rule.

This steampunk style tag was created for the Ranger booth at CHA and is featured on their blog in March 2013. It is a #8 size manila tag covered with a metal foil sheet then embossed with a Tim Holtz texture fade folder. The colored with black, gold, juniper acrylic paints to look old and with a slight patina . The stamped images are Tim Holtz and colored with a water brush and Distress Inks. Other pieces added are gears cut from Grungeboard and aged with acrylic paint and some metal…

The basket features more of Tim Holtz' Ideaology pieces, embossed metal that covers the Dixie Cup and metallic Dresden trim at the top and bottom of the basket. The man inside is on of my favorite stamps from Wendy Vecchi. He is colorized using Distress Inks and a water brush.

CREATIVITY IS CONTAGIOUS This 5x7 canvas was covered with gesso then inked and stamped. The large phrenology head was stamped in orange and then blue (separately) onto white tissue paper and then added to the canvas in layers and sealed with matte multi medium. Tim Holtz' Ideaology metal pieces and Mixed Mini Grungeboard letters were added.

CREATIVITY IS CONTAGIOUS: SIMON SAYS SHOW MORE THAN ONE LAYER This was done with Tim Holtz' paper bag die cut using kraft paper. I inked, stamped and heat embossed all of the bag before putting it together. Then I added some metal Ideaology gears, mica flakes, etc. All sides are finished.
