This article provided some breathing exercises we can try every day. I think they can be quite useful to reduce stress and anxiety level, even though they don't really take the stressors away. It is one of the relaxation techniques in the lecture handout, and it is also included in "How Successful People Stay Calm" as a strategy to take your attention away from the stress.
