The Mellerio Shell Tiara takes its name, unsurprisingly, from its shape which is a wave with hanging pearls. It originally had a diamond drop feature hanging in the centre but Queen Sophia hasn’t worn it this way in years. Made by jewellers Mello e Mellerio in 1867
