At Pierre Bergé’s estate in Normandy, France, antique stained-glass doors and pine paneling line the multipurpose salon of the Russian-style main building, which was created in the 1980s for Bergé and his late partner, the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. The carpet is 19th-century Russian, as are the table at left and the carved bench beside it. Guests can also relax on the elegant floor cushion.
