I always thought about this because the muggle-born kids would probably want to get tattoos for surviving the wizarding wars, but the purebloods (and some of the half-bloods, I'm sure) would be confused because the only marks wizards wore were the dark marks. They'd be flipping out about it until they saw that the muggle-borns were just getting animals for fun, or some other totally harmless design.
