After having both of her legs amputated below the knee on her first birthday, Aimee Mullins learned to walk with prosthetic legs by the time she was two. Able to run along the side of other children with no disabilities, she triumphed over any doubts.

Alexandra Santibanez is a Hispanic model and motivational speaker who uses a wheelchair. She was injured in a car accident that left her with a T3 spinal cord injury, paralyzing her from the waist down. She didn't let that stop her, continuing on with life. She eventually got a bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising. She has participated and won several fashion/beauty pageants and currently models for a line of handbags and Team Colours, a company that sells customized wheelchairs.
