北魏迁都前的佛像样式 遷都前的佛像一般多保留著較濃厚的西域和涼州地區佛像樣式的影響,而涼州地區的佛像也是融合了印度西二北犍陀羅主任地區和印度本土馬土拉(秣菟羅)的各種因素,並主要是接受了新疆於闐和龜茲兩大系統的佛像樣式而形成的。 ①佛像為磨光式肉髻或分為數綹式,還有一種變形的渦卷式水波紋式髮型是外來的佛發樣式,螺發肉髻(馬土拉系統)數量極少。   ②大衣是通肩式的或袒右肩式,衣紋結構仍多呈U形或V形,線條隆起,中刻一道陰線。 ③菩薩頭挽高髻,戴冠,束冠的繒帶向兩外飄出。上身袒,下著裙。肩搭帔帛,太和時代的帔帛從兩肩下垂於膝部然後上卷,以後又發展出帔帛交叉穿過一環。   ④早期飛天是穿裙露足的,以後變為長裙飄舞,包裹雙足不見。 ⑤單尊銅造像有大蓮瓣形光背,四足台座,四足面寬闊。
