HMS Rothesay (F107) , a type 12M Frigate built by Yarrow at Scotstoun and commissioned on 23/04/60. Appeared in the Bond film "Thunderball" whilst in the Windies. Refitted in mid 60s, losing her 40mm for a Seacat system and one of her AS Mortars for a helicopter flight  deck, hanger & Westland Wasp. Scrapped in '88. Photo is prior to her refit.

HMS Ajax, King George V Battleship. built at Scotts' shipyard at Greenock on the River Clyde.Commissioned 31/10/13. Saw action at the Battle of Jutland in 1916 and in the Mediterranean and Black Seas in 1919, before being decommissioned in 1924.
