One thing that my friends, family and house could tell you is this: I have quite a penchant for topiaries. I don't discriminate - real or artificial - I love them all. While the longest lifespan has only been about a year, they are always worth the effort. I will re-plant it, spray it with insect spray, douse it with soapy water, add fertilizer - or any combination of the above.
