Island of the Dolls, Mexico - a hermit, Don Julian, lived on this island where he was tormented by the ghost of a girl who'd drowned. To appease her he hung the dolls from the trees for her to play with. In 2001 Julian's body was found by his nephew; he'd drowned in the same canal as the girl. Since then, tourists have claimed to hear the dolls whispering and see them moving on their own. When Syfy's "Destination Truth" visited they experienced apparitions, paranoia and disembodied voices.
Albion Falls, Hamilton, Ontario - the suicide of Jane Riley is documented here in the early 19th century; she threw herself off the top of the falls - in the 1940's a young woman drove her truck over the cliff and died here also -Jane is still seen here and people have actually reported seeing her suicide replay itself from the top of the falls and she has been known to speak to visitors - voices are heard, light anomalies.
