In school, Magic Johnson struggled with reading because of dyslexia, but took summer school to catch up. His classmates gave him a hard time. "The looks, the stares, the giggles...I wanted to show everybody that I could do better and also that I could read," he said. Magic used these instances as motivation to become successful in life, attending Michigan State, winning an NCAA Basketball Championship, five NBA Championships with the LA Lakers, and a gold medal with the USA Olympic team.
