Herbert Bayer. "Schlesisches Heim," issue 1/2, 8th year. 1927. Letterpress with offset lithographic cover. (21 x 29.8 cm) A great example demonstrating how the movement had a innovative and efficient use of geometric shapes. While simple, it also creates a linear perspective as well makes it three-dimensional. Designs were meant to be eye-catching, interesting, mass produced and rational.
This font, DIN, is pretty basic and has a simple quality to it. Sometimes it is better to use basic fonts rather than extravagant ones because its easier on the eyes. it stands out to me because of the simplicity and elegance.
