Vamp kit. Black powder pistol to slow the vamp down enough to stake it!! A nuns cross. Silver topped bottles containing holy water, sacred soil from a graveyard and oiled garlic. The bible 1890. The rosary is for the hunter faith and protection. The bone handled dagger has a steel blade, again this weapon is to slow the vamp before the staking. The pincers are to remove the vampires fangs after it's death.
A 19th century Vampire slaying kit, which includes a wooden mallet and four oak stakes, glass vials of holy water and garlic paste is expected to fetch up £2,000 when auctioned later this month. The macabre artefact also has a percussion cap pistol - invented in the 1830 - and a steel bullet mold, all carefully crafted to offer the best protection against any creatures of the night.
