Upon arriving at Kirk Creek Campground in Big Sur in the afternoon, I once read an entire book in one sitting. It was by Pema Chodron, and it was called "Taking the Leap." I will never forget that day because it felt like such an unexpected, absolute luxury to do such a thing. I loved every minute!

I want to stay at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont -- the inn run by the Von Trapp Family of Sound of Music fame.
