Unrolled cabbage rolls: 1/2 a head of lettuce, chopped. Two lbs ground turkey or lean beef, one chopped onion, two cans diced tomatoes, 16 ounces tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic to taste. Brown meat with onion, add remainder of ingredients. Simmer covered for one hour. Would be great with a habanero or add rice to be more filling. We thought this was MUCH better the second day after the ingredients married overnight.
