Wheelchair basketball game raises funds and awareness for Granite State Independent Living. Come Watch Oklahoma State University Athletes take on The Spokes Wheelchair Basketball Team. As a fundraiser for the OSU Wheelchair Basketball team, an all-star squad of both men and women varsity athletes will take on the OSU Wheelchair Basketball team.
The University of Alabama Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team will play an exhibition game against the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity as part of a fundraiser. Admission to the game is $5 and students can pay with their Action Cards. All proceeds will go directly towards the WCBB team.
Brodhead bowling fundraiser aims to help family devastated by accident
Still showing the injuries and scars he recieved in a serious car accident in early March, 12 year-old Clay Spooner rolled a few frames from his wheelchair at a fundraiser benefit held for him on Saturday at Cardinal Lanes in Brodhead. Both of Spooner's parents died as a result of the accident.
Fan's football fundraiser for wheelchairs at Crew Club in Brighton. A football fan has raised £7,500 to realise his dream to play the sport he loves. Jadey Richardson, from Brighton, raised the money to pay for ten new wheelchairs which can be used for football at The Crew Club in Brighton.
The San Francisco State University women's cross country team, followed closely by the men's team, run in costumes at the Throw-A-Fit fundraiser. A ballerina in a blue wig, superwoman and others joined forces to throw javelins and discuses to raise funds for the throws squad at SF State. The all-female throws squad, part of SF State’s track and field team, dressed in costume to host the first-ever Throw-a-fit, a fundraiser designed to raise money for scholarships for members of the team.
