She is melting crayons onto a canvas, with a hair dryer. This is super cool! It would be a great activity to do with kids to show and explain to them how things work. It would also be fun if you were teaching them about wax!
Ice Cream in a Bag This is SOOO easy and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put: 1/2 C. half and half (milk works too) 1 Tbps. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream.
Soda Pop Ice Cream. Easy - a 2 liter bottle of soda and a 14oz can sweetened condensed milk (can use fat free), put in ice cream maker and churn! For a richer, creamier version, also add a cup of whole milk, cream, or half & half
