I designed a human rights poster defining Domestic Violence in the society. I transformed a healthy woman into a woman who seemed to be assaulted by a man. Chapter 10: Dress can be a form of non-verbal communication. When we see someone we take short cuts by making a short evaluation about them. How someone is dressed plays a big part on how we categorize them as a person. This women is dressed in business attire so she is most likely a business woman. She is most likely highly educated and quite sophisticated. All these judgements come from what her dress communicates about herself.

With a record amount of women entering the workplace, women wanted to be seen as being as equal and as able as men. The suit, along with its strong shoulders, promotes a message of competence and status to society.
