French Apple Custard Cake -- thinly sliced apples covered in a custard batter and sprinkled on top with a touch of sugar make a custard Apple filling with a golden crispy bottom and top cake. So so so good!! (Left out the dash of alcohol and added a pinch of nutmeg and reduced the sugar by 30%)
Sour-Cream Apple Pie - Oh my goodness! Today was Canadian Thanksgiving and I decided to give this a try and it was heavenly! It's a bit more work than a regular two crust apple pie, but it was light and not too sweet, and just perfect! This will be a go-to for any Fall special occasion meal!
