Kendrick Lamar | To Pimp A ButterflyWith about 10 days to go before the release, K-dot brings out the cover art to "To Pimp A Butterfly", his very next studio album. Stay tuned for the album stream that will arrive soon!
King Diamond, The Puppet Master**: I've never really known what to make of Mr. Diamond. By this I mean that I don't know whether or not to take the man seriously. I know that a number of 80s metal bands have discussed his influence on them, but I'm not sure I really buy the argument. I just don't see the influence. And I listen to this album, and I just shrug my shoulders, cock my head, and sigh "Meh." Then I think it could be so much better. 9/22/15
Rainbow, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow**** (1975): Thought I do like Blackmore's guitar work on this, and I love what Dio does with his voice; this is not the definitive Rainbow album. "Man on Silver Mountain," "The Temple of the King," and "Sixteenth Century Greensleeves" are all fantastic songs, but again, this is not the definitive Rainbow album. That one is coming, and when I hear this one, I want to hear that one more. (4/15/14)
