This stadium gallery comes to you courtesy of College Football America publisher Kendall Webb. The J.L. Walkup Skydome is the home of the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in Flagstaff, Arizona. When it opened in 1977, it was the world’s largest clear-span timber dome, giving way to the Tacoma Dome when it opened in 1983 in Tacoma, Washington. The playing surface is at an elevation of 6,880 feet, second only to Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium in Division I football.
