P/O Leon W Collingridge of No 66 Squadron RAF stands besides Spitfire Mk I N3042 at RAF Duxford in 1940. The aircraft was later coded LZ-M, in which the 19-year-old pilot crash-landed on the beach at Orfordness on 29 July, after being hit by return fire from He 111 bombers.

Sally B is still flying displays, and Mary Alice is property of IWM and part of AWM's American Air Museum in Britain at the historic fighter airfield site. Sally B starred as Memphis Belle in film of same name, and still wears the Memphis Bell nose art on one side and Sally B on the other.
