Hellebores can be a challenge to paint! I decided to try painting one of the older flowers that has lost its stamens and petals - a tiny ring of inconspicuous green around the centre. The sepals which remain on the flower change colour as they get older... a lovely blue- green tinged with purple but so hard to paint! Still, it's just a practice piece!!
