In Jamaica, a typical lunch item that is usually eaten is the Jamaican beef patty, or as they are known in Jamaica, a Patty. This staple food is often eaten for lunch and has a variety of spices which can showcase the flavour palette of Jamaicans.
Good basic ingredients, but lacking in spice and moisture.mince needs cooking much longer, tumeric needs adding to pastry.these are best for people who can’t tolerate spices, myself however found them to be very bland.
