One of my favourite pieces. "Suspended stone circle II", by Ken Unsworth. 130 round river stones, each weighing around 20 kilos and suspended by tensed-up wires. I had the luck of seeing this piece at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
"Count the circle/ Count around the circle is one of my favorite number sense routines." K.CC.1: Count to 100 by ones and tens K.CC.2: Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Icehotel in Jukksajarvi, Sweden, including Art Suites created by artists from around the world. The temporary hotel is created from snow and ice each winter. This room is the Ice Church. Artists: Mark Szulgit, Julia Orlando Adzuki, Marjolein Vonk & Cindy Berg.
