Rich blue gown (circa 1867) Classic elements of gowns from this era - high neckline, sloping shoulders with drop sleeve. Fitted bodice with cinched waist swells to full bell skirt. This dress has a slight train with an interesting treatment on the back of the skirt: a low, fringe-trimmed swag with a large bow (with fringed sashes) positioned about knee height.
