They never rip me off, and Ray himself argued with a manufacturer to honor my warranty on some new struts that failed. All of the other auto shops and mechanics around can just take it in the butt. This place rules.

Western Steakburger, 2730 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92104. A family-owned neighborhood staple! My parents have been going to this restaurant since their college dating days. Even when I haven't been in for a while, the staff remembers me. While the location is in a fairly safe neighborhood, the occasional kooky character makes an appearance. City Delicatessen and Bakery, 535 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103. A LGBT-friendly, rainbow-filled deli with some of the nicest servers ever, this place is a staple of my restaurant dining. They used to have a special jukebox at table 12 where you didn't need quarters to play songs, but they fixed it. That sucks. The menu is huge, but business is not.
