Boredom Busters for Chickens   Not that chickens are intelligent enough to get bored  tasty nibbles of wheat, seeds, fruit and molasses (hence you will find it is sticky to touch). Molasses were used, according to my old poultry keeping book, in poultry feed in days gone by, and is said to help the hens digestion.

Raising chickens? Feed them these herbs for health: garlic & onion; chickweed; dandelion; fennel; wormwood; rue; cleavers; mint; cress; marigold; vervain; comfrey; mullein root; thyme; marjoram; sage; nasturtium; mugwort; goat's rue;  gotu kola; parsley. (Don't worry about amounts – chickens will eat only what they need.)
