A wedding set I've just finished. I used the same stamp behind the vellum printed words (I did that on the laser printer), on the envelope & on the card to request no presents. The bow has a small, open, sliver heart hanging from it with embroidery floss. I used the largest size of Nestabilities Labels 8 for the stamped & vellum pieces & then traced & hand cut the grey CS border piece. The white back piece is embossed with an EF.

this one uses my favorite stamp - I've never thought to cut it out in a circle... love it.

Stampin' Up! SU by Lynn Weiss, LW Designs--one of the prettiest cards I've seen yet!

cut grey cs into 2, layer it with a color strip behind, stamp a bold sentiment.

Ghastlies Alexander Henry Light Grey Fabric 1 yard

Hey, I found this really awesome Etsy listing at http://www.etsy.com/listing/56949706/ghastlies-alexander-henry-light-grey

PTI sets; dots from Boy Basics: Simple Circles, and the sentiment is combined from two different pieces from two sets: Daffodils & Mega Mixed Messages.

Radom stamping can be used to focus on different (big) images. If you keep your color scheme simple your card does not get too messy. But I've seen some cards with beautiful randomly stamped flowers in different colors. It may work if you keep a balance! I embossed some images and added a border with a grey marker to make them stand out a bit more.
