In 2013 Made by the Forge decided to support the Suffolk Wildlife Trust with its tree planting money. The donation helped to plant 1000m of hedgerow to re-establish critical habitat connections for the native dormouse. The hedgerow planted is between Bentley Long Wood and Brockley Wood.

Made by the Forge again donated their tree planting money to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. In March 2015 the Trust's volunteers planted an enormous amount of trees to reinstate part of a green lane on the Arger and Spouse's Vale land.
