Garlic Chard Roti/Flat bread Ingredients: 6-8 garlic cloves, finely minced 3 cups finely chopped chard 2 cups whole wheat flour + more for rolling and dusting 1 tablespoon oil salt 1 teaspoon turmeric 1 tablespoon red chili powder/or cayenne/or red chili flakes (or as per taste) water (about 1/2 cup) oil, to fry the parathas 2 teaspoons garam masala (optional)
***** 12/3/15 REALLY GOOD, FAST AND EASY--used thin sliced pork tenderloin roast--veggies were asparagus, pea pods, onions and mushrooms--used marinade recipe as a base, added sesame oil, hoisin sauce and garlic--used rice noodles and stir fried them after the pork--cooked the veggies and then added the remaining marinade, noodles and pork.
A quick lunch: 1 slice of good bread, 1/3 to 1/2 ripe avocado, salt, drizzle of olive oil (optional), black pepper, red pepper flakes. paprika, or ground cumin (optional). Toast your bread on both sides. Smash on avocado with a fork. Top with flaky salt & spices. You're done.
