This gold thread caught my eye the other day when I was wandering through the city with @maggie_pate and I had to take it home. It's a blend of silk and mohair and has this wonderful sheen to it and is also ridiculously soft. If I could afford enough of it I'd knit a giant sweater but for now I'm just making a little golden cap to keep my head warm because it actually snowed here in Portland last night !!!! It was the first snow at our new(ish) house and I am now using it as an excuse to…
