After seeing multiple pins about minimalist play kitchens, I set out to make my own. I made this stove out of a wood plaque from and some wooden toy wheels from Hobby Lobby. I painted the plaque and mod podged scrapbook paper and paper circles for the burners. I loosely screwed in the knobs so they could still turn. Finally, I gave it a vintage look using distressing ink. Total cost was a little over $5.
Why stop at your tree when decorating with Christmas lights? Print and cut out colorful bulbs, fold each in half, and use a glue pen to attach to twine. Then, simply wrap around your package and secure with tape.
