How to explain the Trinity to kids using an apple. :-)The peel is like God the Father, because He protects us.  The flesh is like God the Son, because Jesus is God made flesh.  The seeds are like the Holy Spirit because He  helps us grow as he was yet to come. He already has come and gave us eternal life for ALL who seek him. amen

I really liked this Bible study except one thing. I didn't agree with is that we are the Bride of Christ. I believe we are the sons of God. I see the Bride as the Jews that will be saved (and added) after the rapture of the church.

We were going to be learning about the Holy Trinity in my 3rd and 4th grade church class.  I wanted them to grasp the mystery of the Triad --Father, Son, Holy Spirit -- and still understand that the 3 are 1.           I typed the little story about the pretzel, put some pretzels in a zippered bag, and stapled the story to the bag.  At the end of our class I handed these out after explaining the story to them.
