Ole Scheeren, a Beijing-based German architect, designed this floating cinema. Scheeren’s dream proved to be a rare experience. Shortly after its world debut, the floating cinema was dismantled and donated to the village of Yao Noi as a playground and floating stage.

"A Floating Auditorium in a Thai Lagoon" Archipelago Cinema is an auditorium raft that recently debuted at the Film on the Rocks Yao Noi festival on the island of Yao Noi, in Southern Thailand. The cinema was designed by German architect Ole Scheeren.
