I is for igloo. Cut down about and inch or so of a paper cup. Glue it to a piece of cardboard. Glue mini marshmellows around the bottom of the cup. Keep working up the cup with more rings of marshmellows, staggering them like bricks. Make the entrance tunnel from several layers of marshmellows. Add fluff for the snow around the igloo. Let dry.
Cover a block of foam with brown paper for dirt. Color and cut out flowers. Glue to green painted popscicle sticks and add leaves. Stick into the foam. We added a bee,a butterfly, a sun and several raindrops to the garden for the letter G.
L is for lollipop. Great alphabet preschool craft. The children colored the letter L with markers. Then I put small amounts of different color paint on the back of the paper plate. I put an cotton ball in a clothes pins and they swirled it around. Glued on a popcicle stick and voila`. From the Firefly class.
