Luxury cruise ship, "World Discoverer" has traveled the world since its construction in 1976, especially for scientific expeditions. On board, naturalists, biologists and geologists working diligently while traveling. April 30, 2000, off the Solomon Islands, the boat hit a reef. All passengers were evacuated safely but the ship remains to this day in the Bay of Roderick in the Solomon Islands.
